CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BALLET FIT
This group class uses the ballet barre to increase the body’s flexibility, improve muscle endurance and posture through movements derived from ballet.

BODY BLAST
This class combines weight training with small bouts of cardio exercises to help improve muscular strength and endurance as well as work the body’s cardiovascular system.

CARDIO DANCE
This class is an hour of dancing and burning calories to chart music, old and new.

CARDIO STEP INTERVAL
This class combines intervals of step choreography with intervals of weight training to improve the body’s strength, endurance and cardiovascular system.

CORE AND MORE
This class is a total body workout using a variety of equipment to challenge all muscle groups, including the core.

INTRO TO MYHIPHOPFIT
This class provides an introduction to “Myhiphopfit” dance which will prepare you for our monthly master class. Learn the patented focus point method that prevents injury coupled with the fun of hip hop dance to achieve optimal results.

KICKBOXING
This is a high energy aerobics class with a series of punches and kicks with an emphasis on proper alignment, form and execution.

MAC PUMP
This is a barbell class focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements that will challenge all of your major muscle groups.

PILATES
This class uses a system of exercises that focus on strengthening the core. Benefits of the system include lengthening muscles, defining muscles and improving posture.

SENIOR STRONG
This 30 minute class is specifically designed for our senior members. It incorporates lower extremity resistance strength exercises, balance exercises and functional movements with a goal to improve your overall well-being.

YOGA
Yoga is a discipline which includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures widely practiced for health and relaxation.

ZUMBA
This high-energy dance class focuses on dance routines choreographed to a mix of Latin, international and chart music.

ZUMBA TONE
This class combines a high-energy dance class with light weights toning target zones including arms, core and lower body.
